Norrgard "Annual" Reunion Poll

Since our reunion last year, Salem Church in Mahtowa -- our "family" church -- started renting out their "Salem Hall" that is next door to the church. (at one time it was the Mahtowa Elementary School).

So I had this idea I'm proposing-- Would we like to rent this hall and establish an Annual Norrgard Family Reunion? I'd suggest keeping a selected time frame -- say the 1st Saturday of August -- and make it potluck.

The rent is reasonable, it would be indoors (no problems w/rain), has a kitchen for use, has outdoors areas too, and keep the location in the Mahtowa area where we have family ties for the homestead of Andrew & Clara.

My thoughts are that this would give families an opportunity to come it they can and to be able to know consistently when it would be. Similar to the Norrgard Reunions that happened in Milaca, MN for about 100 years. So if you miss one year for whatever reason you can try again for the next year-- v.s the happenstance way we've been doing it.
